Nasonov glands

Bees use pheromones for communicating. They use their Nasonov gland to let their sisters know where home is by waving their abdomens in the air to expose the gland on the underside and then fanning to spread the scent. These bees were in the honey super I took off, when I saw what they were doing I recorded them. I love the humming sound.
