Insecticides

If you are an avid reader about bees, then you have very likely heard of neonicotinoids. It’s a class of insecticides that is related to nicotine and is a potent neurotoxin. As you may know, some European countries have suspended the use of particular neonicotinoids (there are several of these).

I get action alerts regarding various organic issues and thought I would pass this along: it’s an online petition to get the FDA and USDA to stop the use of the neonicotinoid, clothianidin.

Click to read the petition.
